North Woods Nursing Center Receives Facility of Excellence Award

North Woods Nursing Center was recently honored with an award for facility excellence. The Calvin H. Monfils Facility of Excellence Award is the highest honor for a facility given out by the Health Care Association of Michigan (HCAM). The award is based on an arduous judging process incorporating submissions from facilities throughout Michigan as well as an on site visit.

Administrator Aaron Woods believes all the credit for winning the award goes to the staff.

“The staff truly is what makes North Woods a facility of excellence,” Woods said. “Their commitment to quality, their commitment to the residents, their willingness to work hard – all of those factors contribute to our ability to provide quality care. I am so proud of the North Woods staff for all they accomplished to win this award and the perfection they continue to strive for everyday.”
